Spray-Painted Muslin

my friend allie and i decided to make a dress out of some leftover muslin and tulle
we were thinking heatherette and betsey johnson inspired.
we made the rosettes out of tulle and spray painted the whole thing
turned out to be pretty cool actually.

lindy's 15 minutes of fame

i was browsing teenvogue.com, one of my daily fashion go-to websites
and noticed a "fashion snapshot" contest and was immediately interested

so i asked my good friend noah to be a doll and take pictures to submit. we went to the park and i put them up on teenvogue later. a couple weeks later, they emailed me that i was chosen to be in the top 20. between convincing my friends to vote for me every single day, announcing it on the school intercom, bugging people with text and phone calls and facebook messages, i somehow made the top 10. as a top 10 finalist, i was given a $500 giftcard to shopbop.com (amazing!!!) and purchased my BEAUTIFUL foley + corinna bag, on sale man.

Doggies on the Catwalk

grady has an elite fashion program called Urban Couture. theres a massive runway show at the end of the year with student designs and student models. the fiber-class students all make one outfit under a collective theme, thought up by Vincent Martinez, the fibers teacher. there's a group of 10-12 senior designers that make collections under a theme they decide themselves.

there's also a show we do in early january called doggies on the catwalk. senior designers make outfits for atlanta socialites and their dogs.
